How much is your coaching?

We coach for a weekly fee of $50 and then charge $65 for 45min individual coaching sessions – eg run technique with filming

How much attention do I get?

We only coach 7 athletes at a time – this allows us to give you the support and planning necessary – and recognises the fact that we need to ride our bikes also!

I am not based in Wellington – will you still coach me?

No. We want to see you! Only then can we really gauge how the training is going. Nothing beats seeing your athlete face to face.

I don’ have a power meter/fancy watch/tri bike/a closet full of lycra…?

No you don’t need any fancy gear. I started by training on a spin bike at the gym then borrowed a bike for my first race. Once I decided I liked the experience then I brought a bike.. second hand 🙂

Don’t I need to track my data?

Wearables are great for feedback but aren’t required. We do use Training Peaks software for programming your week but can easily use subjective responses to gauge how you are going.

Do I have to sign up for 12 weeks?

No. We will sit down with you and look to do 4 weeks (this gets set weekly) and see how you go. This way the commitment for both parties is low – you need to get on with your coach and their training philosophy and the we need to see that we can deliver for you.

Where are you based? Where do you do your practical sessions?

I am  based in Oriental Bay and use Freyberg or Thorndon pools (or the sea!) Run technique at Waitangi Park, riding around the Bays and Strength and Conditioning at Healthfit Collective.
